I realised that the current navigation structure was a little to static and simple so an addition was needed. The old structure (beginner/intermediate/advanced) was fine if you were a complete newbie and needed a more or less "complete" introduction to web hosting but many visitors are looking for more specific information. A typical visitor in this category comes from a search engine and lands on an article of interest. I want that visitor to find related articles on Good Web Hosting Info but that just wasn't as easy as it should be.

My solution was to create topics and relate articles to one or more topics. With these relations, it's easy to extract a list of other articles that might be of interest. I think of topics as more dynamic/less structured than a typical navigation structure so topics will come and go as I think of better ways to relate the articles. That also means that the site menu will stay the same.
